                            CoVID-19 vs Spring!!!

Are you frightened?  Are you annoyed?  Are you angry?  Are you fed up?   Are you enchanted with the blossoms and shoots that are showing themselves in nature?
Everyone is having a different experience with this most strange Pandemic.  Is this the most frightening thing that has ever happened in this world, or is the most over blown excuse to shut society down?  It is hard to find a sure answer and hard to criticize someone else's opinion.
What ever your experience is, it is just right for you.
There are many facets to a well cut diamond, and this is a well cut diamond.  Each facet sheds a different perspective on this singular occurrence.
We have been given some good advice to avoid the unchecked potential spread of this event.  At the same time, the advice can be quite limiting to a recovery and a return to a productive society.  How to find a balance in this can be challenging.
May I offer some slightly unorthodox suggestions?
1) Don't panic.  In Chinese Medical philosophy, there is a long standing saying that "all illness has spiritual roots".  This is true in today's world.  So, as this process continues, find ways to nurture your spirit.  These practices should bring you peace, calm and comfort.  Pray or meditate twice a day.  Anchor yourself in the deepest reservoir in our being. Reach out to God and ask for and be open to receiving peace.  Read uplifting and spirit filled literature.  No more than 10 minutes a day of so called News.  Connect with nature.  Spring is not a time of the year to miss.  It is not an accident that this declared Pandemic has occurred in the Spring.  New life is returning and it will be better than ever.  Change is in the air, and as always, it will be for the better if we will embrace it properly!  We must simply embrace the change, know it will be for the better, and move ahead with confidence toward a better tomorrow.
2)  Get good sleep.  Rest is critical in having a strong immune system.
3)  Be simple in your nutritional choices.  Whole foods, simple meals, small quantities is a good pattern to follow.
4)  Limit digital time.  TV, Internet, Cell Phones all hold us in a trance.  Break out of it.  Read a book, spend time just talking to others, at a safe distance of course. :-)   Enjoy a good walk twice a day if you are sheltering in place.  Make sure to observe nature coming back to life.  Don't let spring slip past you!
5)  Prevention is the wisest course here.  We are all going to get exposed to this virus, if we have not already been exposed.  A strong immune system is vital.   Vitamin D3 is a key.  Vitamin C seems to be very helpful.  Acupuncture and Chiropractic are wonderful in stimulating and enhancing a healthy immune system.
6)  Good sanitation is wise, but don't over do it.  Our bodies are covered in and filled with a marvelous array of desirable and necessary bacteria, parasites, fungi and viruses.  They serve a vital function in keeping us healthy.  Clorox doesn't discern between the good guys and the bad guys.  It kills them all.  That leaves your body as an open field for anything to grow.  It is good to be clean, don't try to be sterilized.  Colloidal Silver is a marvelous cleanser!  We can't live like that.  So, stay clean but don't over do it.
7)  Trust in God.  Simply, know that whatever comes is exactly what each of us need, collectively and individually.  Know that it will help you grow, develop and mature into the kind of person you can and have chosen to become.  Trust in this amazing plan.

I was able to purchase two air purifiers before supplies ran short.  They are magnificent at cleaning the air with a filter, oxygen, and ultraviolet light.   They remove mold, particles, bacteria and viruses from the air.  If you live in an environment where it is hard to control what comes in and out, or just want to be very sure nothing bad gets to stay and live in your air, call about getting one of these Triad Aer purifiers.  They are a wonderful way to ensure pure clean air in your home or business.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to call.  Our office is open and we are taking care of patients.  We have taken every precaution we can think of to keep you safe and to help you feel powerful in dealing with these changing times!   Today is a Great Day!
